Lawn Lodge #1230

ABOUT: Lawn Lodge is located in the small town of Lawn, Texas: located approximately 25 miles south of Abilene. It was chartered on the Fifth of December, 1925, by the Grand Lodge of Texas. Lawn Lodge has a diverse, active, and young population of Masons from the local community, as well as Abilene and beyond.

Lawn Lodge has dedicated itself to establishing a quality Masonic Experience to its members, with the following being cornerstones of the Lodge:

  1. Guarding the West Gate, and Brotherly Love: We admit good men and are selective about that. Anyone who joints the Lodge is not just a Brother to be seen once a month, but a true and trusty friend.
  2. Education of New Members: Lawn Lodge doesn't just go over memory work. We educatie our new members on all aspects of Masonry from symbolic, to day to day business of the Lodge and Grand Lodge. By the time our members receive their third degree they are well rounded, and knowledgeable.
  3. Dignity of the Lodge: At Lawn, we dress for Lodge with the respect we believe it deserves. Our members wear business casual at minimum and the officers are in suits.
  4. Impressive Ceremonies: Lawn Lodge goes to great lengths to ensure that new members receive degrees that are impressive, memorable, and unique.
  5. Masonic Education: As a Lodge, we make a point to have Masonic Education at all stated meeting and dig into the deeper aspects of Masonry.

STATED COMMUNICATIONS: The Stated Meeting of Lawn Lodge are the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 8 PM Central, with proper meals served at 7 PM. We are dark during the month of December

DRESS: There is no required dress code for visitors. Members of the Lodge dress in business casual and officers in suit and tie.
